Stéphane Valeri, the president of Monaco’s National Council, has tested positive for coronavirus, the press service of the elected assembly announced on Monday morning.

Mr Valeri is showing no symptoms and will self-isolate at home, from where he will work, his office said.

On Sunday, the diocese of Monaco announced on Sunday that Archbishop Dominique-Marie David tested positive for coronavirus one week ago, and has been isolating at his residence in Monaco.
