Scorpio Bulkers continues tanker sell-off

Scorpio Bulkers is continuing its move into the offshore wind sector with the sale of its fourth ultramax oil tanker within a week.

SBI Zeus has been sold to an unnamed customer for $18.5 million, according to maritime news service Spash247. The vessel is valued at 419.27 million by VesselsValue. The vessel will be delivered before the end of the year.

Scorpio has ordered a wind turbine installation vessel at DSME, valued at between $265m and $290m and has recently sold four ultramaxes and three kamsarmaxes, raising over $125 million Splash247 said.
