The meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee, bringing together Government ministers and representatives of the National Council, met on Thursday, June 18, to discuss recent progress in the aftermath of the coronavirus crisis.
On the agenda were the ongoing testing campaign and the latest loosening of lockdown measures, among several other items. Of great importance is the Government’s continuing assistance for hard-hit small businesses, which has been welcomed by the elected body.
Note was also made of the decisions by France to east travel restrictions from other EU states and its decision to allow travellers from outside the Schengen area from July 1.
“The Monegasque authorities will to do everything possible to welcome tourists this summer while controlling the borders, in order to ensure control of the circulation of the virus,” the Government said.
