As part of the celebration of the thirty years of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, singer and comedian Michael Gregorio gave a concert on Wednesday, November 20, at the Grimaldi Forum, in the presence of HSH the Sovereign Prince, HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover and Bishop Bernard Barsi, Archbishop of Monaco.
The concert was held in a very warm atmosphere, in front of a particularly enthusiastic audience, and was preceded during the day by other celebrations and activities on the forecourt of the Grimaldi Forum and organised by the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports (DENJS) and the Presidents of several Monegasque humanitarian associations.
AMADE was presented with a cheque for 15,000 euros and assistance will also be provided to deserving students and students of the Principality and neighbouring municipalities,who are experiencing financial difficulties.
The Department of National Education, Youth and Sports jumps into action every year, under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, to celebrate the anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 20, 1989.
