Anthony Kromwel, a coach at CrossFit Monte-Carlo, joins news.mc/ TV to talk about functional fitness, CrossFit and how structured training can build strength, endurance and overall wellbeing.
He traces a path from Compiègne and seven years in the French Army through coaching qualifications, a year learning English in Australia, and time in Seoul, before settling on the Riviera and finding a place at CrossFit Monte-Carlo near the stadium.
Kromwel also explains HYROX — the hybrid race of running and functional stations — and how he scaled that format into an ultra challenge lasting more than 26 hours. Along the way he covers tackling an Ironman as a first triathlon, a high-volume training week split between Nice and Monaco, and the mindset that keeps him chasing records others call impossible.
