Monaco Legend Group will return to Lugano on June 4 with its second Exclusive Timepieces auction in the Swiss city, presenting over 160 carefully selected watches spanning more than a century of horological history…

Held at Villa Principe Leopoldo, the sale brings together an impressive selection of vintage and modern timepieces from leading manufacturers, with particular strength in Cartier, Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. Among the most anticipated highlights is a remarkable group of Cartier London watches, including an exceptionally rare Baignoire Oblique London, a highly desirable Tank Cintrée London with its original bracelet and a rare rear-wound Tank Allongée London.

Collectors of complicated watches will be drawn to two important Audemars Piguet calendar wristwatches featuring Cartier-signed dials, both representing an era when leading Swiss manufactures produced highly exclusive pieces for the famed Parisian retailer.

Patek Philippe is led by the extraordinary yellow-gold reference 3449 perpetual calendar, a watch produced in just three unique examples, while Rolex enthusiasts will have the opportunity to bid on an incredibly rare platinum Oyster Perpetual “Ovettone” reference 6304, with diamond set dial and original platinum bracelet.

“Every watch has been selected because it represents something genuinely important within its category,” said Chairman Davide Parmegiani.

The auction follows Monaco Legend Group’s highly successful April Monaco sale, which achieved €26.47 million and a 98.3 percent sell-through rate, underlining continued demand for exceptional collector watches at the highest level of the market.
