A new electronic music festival is set to debut in the Principality this spring. Mona in Wonderland will take over the iconic Chapiteau de Fontvieille on the evening of May 30, promising an immersive experience. Just remember your dancing shoes…
Organised by Effervescence agency in partnership with AEG Presents France, the group behind major events including Rock en Seine, the inaugural edition aims to create more than just a concert. The “Wonderland” theme will shape the entire atmosphere, from visual design to live performers and bespoke lighting effects, transforming the Big Top into a surreal playground for electronic music fans.
Two headline acts have already been confirmed. Ukrainian DJ Miss Monique, one of the fastest-rising names on the global scene, brings her melodic, progressive sound to Monaco, marking a strong female presence in a genre still largely male-dominated. She will be joined by French producer Worakls, internationally acclaimed for blending his classical training with powerful electronic compositions.
Two additional artists will complete the line-up, with one expected to represent the local Monegasque scene.
Positioned just days after the Cannes Film Festival and a week before the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the festival arrives at a vibrant moment on the Riviera calendar. Tickets are available from €34.50, with VIP options for those seeking exclusive access.
