AS Monaco’s latest signing, Eric Dier, was given a rapturous welcome on Wednesday, August 6, as he made his debut off the pitch at the buzzing AS Monaco Village on Port Hercule. Close to 300 fans turned out to meet the English defender, transforming the popular summer attraction into a full-blown Red & White celebration.

Just days after the arrival of Ansu Fati, the Village once again became a magnet for supporters eager to greet their newest star. With shirts ready to be signed and phones held high, fans of all ages, especially young aspiring players, queued for the chance to meet Monaco’s new number 3.

Dier, calm and all smiles, took time to chat, sign autographs and pose for photos, soaking in the electric yet easygoing atmosphere. “It’s special,” he said of the reception. “Meeting the fans for the first time like this is something I won’t forget. I’m really happy to be here.” He also praised the club’s summer village concept, calling it “a great idea — fun and sport for everyone.”

Beyond the autograph session, the Village offered plenty to keep the energy high. A mini football pitch hosted non-stop games, kids scrambled across a life-sized human table football setup, and precision challenges on a giant target tested everyone’s aim. With quizzes, table football, giveaways, and a pop-up shop stocked with the latest 2025-26 kits, there was no shortage of ways to celebrate in true Monaco style.

AS Monaco Village remains open daily until August 24 from 16:00 to 22:30. Entry is free, and whether you’re a die-hard supporter or just passing through, it’s the perfect place to tap into the Principality’s passion for football — with a side of fun.
