Mireille Martini has been appointed Commissioner General of the Monaco Pavilion for Expo 2027 Belgrade, tasked with representing the Principality at the Specialised Exhibition.
Expo 2027 Belgrade runs from May 15 to August 15, 2027, held under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”
Martini brings extensive diplomatic experience to the role, having served as Monaco’s Ambassador to Russia since May 2015 and, more recently, as Ambassador to Kazakhstan, presenting her credentials to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in April 2026. Born in Monaco in 1969, she has spent the majority of her career in the Principality’s diplomatic service.
This is not Martini’s first experience overseeing a Monaco pavilion at a major international exposition. She also served as Commissioner General of the Monaco Pavilion at the World Expo Osaka Kansai 2025, a role in which she represented the Principality’s strategy for strengthening its international visibility and showcasing Monégasque expertise on the global stage.
