The Théâtre des Muses is preparing an eclectic new season with an increased emphasis on comedy, as director Anthéa Sogno promises audiences plenty of opportunities to laugh whilst continuing to discover remarkable stories and performers…
Around 40 productions are planned for the 2026-2027 season, with approximately 25 aimed at adults and 15 at younger audiences. Alongside comedy, the programme will bring major cultural figures including Mozart, Oscar Wilde and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to the stage, with several productions featuring actors who have won or been nominated for Molière Awards.
Among Sogno’s personal highlights is Franck Desmedt’s one-man performance centred on Saint-Exupéry. The acclaimed actor has maintained a close relationship with the intimate Monegasque theatre despite his success on larger stages.
The season is expected to begin around October 8 with Bollywood Boulevard, an energetic one-woman show performed by Pauline Caupenne. The production recounts her remarkable journey to India, where an adventure of self-discovery unexpectedly led to her becoming a Bollywood actress.
The full programme will be unveiled over several presentation dates, with separate schedules for adult and children’s productions as the Théâtre des Muses prepares for another busy season.
