The Grimaldi Forum Monaco has won gold at the M&IT Awards for the second consecutive year, strengthening its position among the leading international venues for business events…
Announced by Forum management yesterday, the Monegasque congress and cultural centre shared the Gold Award for Best Overseas Conference Centre with PortAventura Business & Events. The accolade carries particular significance as the M&IT Awards are voted for directly by British organisers of professional events, with the UK representing an important international market for the Grimaldi Forum.
The latest success brings the venue’s total number of M&IT Awards since 2003 to 21, comprising ten gold, nine silver and two bronze awards.
It was also a successful evening for Monaco more broadly. The Visit Monaco Convention Bureau took gold in the Best Overseas Convention Bureau category, whilst the Fairmont Monte Carlo was also recognised during the ceremony.
The Grimaldi Forum said the awards reflected the combined efforts of Monaco’s business tourism sector to develop a more sustainable, innovative and forward-looking offering.
It also credited its own teams for the latest recognition and thanked its British clients and partners for their continued confidence in the Monaco venue.
