Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène welcomed representatives from several national Red Cross societies to the Prince’s Palace on Wednesday, September 16, marking the 10th edition of the Small European National Societies (SENS) network gathering.

Hosted in Monaco by the Monégasque Red Cross, the event runs from September 15 to 18, bringing together national societies from Andorra, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Malta, alongside representatives from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The gathering is dedicated to sharing experience and strengthening cooperation between Europe’s smaller national Red Cross societies, reflecting the importance Prince Albert II places on international humanitarian issues and on cooperation within the wider International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The Prince and Princess, who serve as President and Vice-President of the Monégasque Red Cross respectively, were joined for the occasion by Camille Gottlieb, head of the organisation’s Youth Section.
