AS Monaco is celebrating two landmark championship seasons with a new exhibition of match-worn and historic shirts at Stade Louis-II, bringing together memorabilia associated with some of the club’s greatest players…
Unveiled alongside Thursday’s Conference League play-off against Polish side Górnik Zabrze, the display marks two anniversaries during the 2026/27 season: 30 years since Monaco’s 1997 French championship triumph and a decade since the memorable Ligue 1 title of 2017.
Thirty shirts are presented in the stadium’s Salon d’Honneur, with 13 representing the 1996/97 campaign and 17 from 2016/17.
Among the highlights is a Kylian Mbappé Champions League shirt from Monaco’s remarkable 2016/17 European campaign, when the club reached the semi-finals. Another rarity is the blue shirt worn by Thierry Henry away at Cannes during the 1997 title-winning season. Monaco won the match 2-0, with Henry scoring both goals, while the distinctive blue strip was used only once.
Shirts worn by players during the title celebrations in both 1997 and 2017 also feature, offering supporters a reminder of two exceptional generations of Monaco football.
The exhibition will remain on display in the Salon d’Honneur at Stade Louis-II until the end of the season.
