Em Sherif Monte-Carlo has reopened for the 2026 season at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, unveiling a refreshed menu and new culinary experiences as the Lebanese restaurant continues to strengthen its presence in Monaco’s luxury dining scene.

After its customary winter closure, the restaurant welcomed guests back on Monday, April 10, for what marks its fifth season in the Principality. Since arriving in Monaco in 2022, the brand — originally founded in Beirut by restaurateur Mireille Hayek — has established itself as one of the standout Mediterranean addresses on the Place du Casino.

At the centre of the restaurant’s evolution is Executive Chef Yasmina Hayek, daughter of the founder and a graduate of the Institut Paul Bocuse. Known for blending traditional Lebanese flavours with more contemporary presentation, she has introduced a series of new dishes for the summer season while preserving the generous sharing style that defines the Em Sherif concept.

Among the latest additions are grilled blue lobster skewers served with fennel condiment, Black Angus beef with zaatar chimichurri, and a reimagined lamb shawarma featuring confit lamb shank, coriander and artichokes. Signature hot and cold mezze remain central to the experience, with staples such as hummus, moutabal, batata harra and grilled halloumi continuing to feature prominently.

Desserts also receive a seasonal refresh. Alongside the restaurant’s well-known pistachio baklawa, guests can now discover dishes including Meghli — a Lebanese spiced rice pudding — and a coconut rice pudding paired with mango, passion fruit and cardamom sorbet.

The drinks programme has also expanded, with a selection of signature cocktails and alcohol-free alternatives designed around Levantine flavours and herbs. Highlights include the Beirut Mule, combining citrus and arak-inspired notes, and the Rose Royale featuring Champagne and rose accents.

Beyond the food itself, Em Sherif Monte-Carlo is continuing to lean into the Riviera lifestyle atmosphere that has become part of its identity. Guests dining on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean can expect live music and DJ performances throughout the summer, while the lounge and shisha area will host screenings of selected matches from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The restaurant is now also accessible through a redesigned entrance on Avenue de Monte-Carlo, further integrating the venue into the evolving hospitality landscape surrounding Casino Square.
