Charles Leclerc may be chasing podiums on the track, but off it, he’s already won big. The Ferrari Formula 1 driver has announced his engagement to influencer Alexandra Saint Mleux, and the proposal was nothing short of adorable.
Leclerc enlisted an unlikely accomplice: his dachshund, Leo. The small but mighty pup trotted up to Alexandra sporting a collar with the words “Daddy wants to marry you.” Naturally, she said yes.
The 27-year-old Monegasque shared the news on social media with a set of photos captioned simply, “Mr. and Mrs. Leclerc.” Fans, unsurprisingly, went into overdrive.
Leclerc and Saint Mleux have been together since 2023. A familiar face in the paddock, Alexandra, who boasts nearly three million Instagram followers, is known for her art and fashion content, and for being one of the most stylish presences trackside.
While Leclerc’s season hasn’t exactly gone to plan — currently sitting fifth in the standings — his personal life seems firmly in pole position. The couple haven’t yet revealed when or where the wedding will take place, but given their flair for elegance, expect something chic, sun-drenched, and possibly Italian.
As for the guest list? It’s safe to assume the Formula 1 grid will be keeping their calendars clear — and Leo will be getting a very well-deserved seat of honour.
