Last night in Paris, the annual New Year’s Ceremony for the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Monaco brought together over a hundred ambassadors and dignitaries to discuss the Principality’s international goals for 2025…
Hosted in the 16th arrondissement, the event was led by Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Monaco’s Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, who also serves as Acting Minister of State.
The gathering underscored Monaco’s commitment to fostering international collaboration, with Berro-Amadeï emphasizing the importance of strengthening relationships with Monaco’s 161 diplomatic partners. “The Principality is deeply committed to nurturing bonds of friendship and addressing shared global challenges,” she remarked, expressing gratitude for the diplomats’ continued cooperation.
Attendees included Monaco’s Ambassador to France, Christophe Robino, and representatives from embassies based primarily in Paris. The event offered a platform for ambassadors to reflect on the unique relationship between Monaco and their respective nations. “Our diplomatic ties with Monaco are longstanding and deeply valued,” noted one ambassador, referencing the Principality’s leadership in environmental advocacy and cultural exchange.
