The Monaco Digital Security Agency (AMSN) and the French organisation Action Against Cybermalveillance (GIP ACYMA) formalised a cooperation programme to bolster awareness, prevention, and victim assistance in combating cyber threats on Thursday, November 14. The agreement, signed by Mr. Frédéric Fautrier, Director of AMSN, and Mr. Jérôme Notin, Director General of GIP ACYMA, leverages the expertise of GIP ACYMA, known for its cybermalveillance.gouv.fr platform launched in 2017.
The initiative will provide AMSN with software tools and the “ExpertCyber” certification framework, developed with Afnor (French Association for Standardisation), adapted to Monaco’s legal framework. This partnership aims to accelerate the creation of a national assistance system in the Principality, enabling individuals, businesses, and associations to access support free of charge. The system will connect victims with certified local professionals, raise awareness about digital privacy protection, and establish a digital risk observatory to monitor and address emerging threats.
The project will be managed through a public-private partnership that brings together representatives from government, users, service providers, and industry experts to foster a secure digital environment in Monaco. GIP ACYMA, founded in 2017, has become a key player in French cybersecurity, with its cybermalveillance.gouv.fr platform receiving over 3.7 million unique visitors in 2023. Meanwhile, AMSN, established in 2015 by Sovereign Ordinance, serves as Monaco’s national authority for digital security, overseeing prevention, detection, and response to cyberattacks to ensure the resilience of the Principality’s information systems.
