The winners of the 2024 Prince Pierre Foundation Awards were unveiled during a ceremony at the Opéra Garnier in Monte-Carlo on Tuesday October 8. The event, attended by HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, who serves as the foundation’s president, was hosted by Arnaud Merlin, a journalist from France Musique.

In the literature category, Mathieu Belezi received the Literary Prize for his entire body of work, while Mokhtar Amoudi was awarded the Discovery Grant for his debut novel ‘Les conditions idéales’. Cécile Tlili won the High School Students’ Choice Award for her first novel ‘Un simple dîner’.

In music, Hans Abrahamsen was honoured with the Musical Composition Prize for his lifetime achievements, and Paul Novak received the Young Music Lovers’ Choice Award for his work ‘Prisms and Mirrors’.

In philosophy, the Principality Prize, jointly presented by the Philosophical Encounters and the Prince Pierre Foundation, went to Souleymane Bachir Diagne for his entire body of work.

These prestigious awards continue to highlight exceptional talent in literature, music, and philosophy, celebrating both emerging and established artists and thinkers.
