On Saturday, September 21, Monaco will hold a special Twinning Walk as part of its partnership with Dolceacqua, Italy. The event invites participants to explore scenic Italian villages while celebrating the ties between the two regions.
The day begins at in Dolceacqua’s Piazza Mauro, with carpooling available from Monaco. After a briefing and a snack provided by Dolceacqua at 8:15, the group will embark on a two-hour hike to Perinaldo, followed by a visit to the local castle.
The next leg, a 75-minute walk to Apricale, will lead to lunch and a village tour at 13:00 Afterward, participants will head to Isolabona for another castle visit, concluding with a return to Dolceacqua by 17:00.
Additionally, in support of World Clean Up Day, participants will collect waste along the route.
