Le Tir Sacré – Theatre
A favorite subject of choreographer Marine Colard, sports commentary is at the center of this theatrical and dance performance, which she presents with Esse Vanderbruggen.
The voice is the common thread of this creation which punctuates the dialogue of bodies and comments in a delicious oscillation between deconstruction of the sporting gesture and decontextualization of words.
Here, in “The Sacred Shot” the duo plays with the musicality of sports commentary. And it’s funny. Because Marine Colard enjoys this musicality which she apprehends like a score on which she weaves a choreography as precise as it is disheveled.
