AS Monaco is celebrating its 100th anniversary this season, promising numerous surprises for its supporters. The celebrations align with the club’s return to the Champions League, setting the stage for an exciting season.
On August 23, Monaco will celebrate its centenary, marking a story that began on August 23, 1924, following the merger of several local clubs. Over the past century, the Principality side has risen to become one of France’s most prestigious clubs, boasting eight French championships, five Coupe de France titles, four Champions Trophies, and a Coupe de la Ligue.
A special jersey collection will be unveiled, paying tribute to the club’s history, identity, and future. Additionally, a 100-year capsule collection will be available throughout the season to commemorate the centenary.
From Thursday, August 1 to Sunday, August 25, Port Hercule will transform into an AS Monaco village, offering free activities, including a football pitch and various surprise events. An exceptional film detailing the club’s history and a new book will also be released next month, celebrating AS Monaco’s memorable moments and iconic figures.
The match against Montpellier HSC on the weekend of September 27 at the Stade Louis-II will feature a limited edition collector’s jersey and a grand celebration with many former players in attendance.
