Zucchero – Concert

Zucchero – real name Adelmo Fornaciari – is a rock blues icon in Italy, with over 60 million records sold. He made musical history as the first Western artist to perform at the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall. In 1992, with Luciano Pavarotti, he founded the “Pavarotti & Friends” charity gala, paving the way for annual concerts until 2003. He has performed on five continents, 69 states and 650 cities, taking part in major events such as Woodstock, the 46664 concerts for Nelson Mandela, and the Freddie Mercury tribute. Sam Smith – Monte-Carlo Summer Festival 2024

Sam Smith is back on tour and will be dropping by in Monaco this July for a special concert at the Salle des Étoiles! Monaco City Hall invites you to experience the now traditional “L’Apéro des Frenchy” concept at La Condamine Market, to mark France’s national holiday, Bastille Day, on 14 July. The event’s distinctive style, typical of the city of Nice, is immensely popular with fans of French “chanson”. The principle is simple. Everyone comes together for a friendly apéritif, quizzes and games on French music, and a few games of pétanque, all to a soundtrack of classic Gallic hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. TURNER, the Sublime Legacy Exhibition

The Grimaldi Forum Monaco, in collaboration with Tate, will unveil the exhibition-event Turner, the Sublime Legacy. This exhibition, featuring an ensemble of first-rate works in a new scenography of over 2,000 square meters, is an invitation to a journey through Joseph Mallord William Turner’s representations of the world in a sublime mode, from his landscapes to the elementary explorations of light and atmosphere of which he was a pioneer and master. Turner’s decisive influence on painting, and by extension his legacy, will be highlighted in the exhibition through some interpretations of the sublime by leading contemporary artists such as, among others, Richard Long, Olafur Eliasson, Cornelia Parker, Jessica Warboys, John Akomfrah, Katie Paterson, and Mark Rothko. The exhibition is curated by Elizabeth Brooke, Senior Project Curator at Tate. This exhibition is organized in collaboration with Tate, with the support of CMB Monaco, SOTHEBY’S and MARZOCCO GROUP. Turner, the Sublime Legacy – Activities for Children

As every summer, the Grimaldi Forum is hosting two weeks of activities dedicated to younger visitors. This year, the workshops are all about the Forum’s latest landmark exhibition “Turner, the Sublime Legacy”! Children aged 5 to 12 can experience the world of J.M.W. Miquel Barceló, Oceanographer – Exhibition
