For the first quarter of this new year, the students of the Rainier III Academy are offering a complete musical and theatrical program in various places in the Principality. As part of the Sainte-Dévote celebrations, the Children’s Choir of the Académie Rainier III will participate at the concert by the English Choir Tenebrae, on Saturday January 27 at 18:00 at Monaco Cathedral.
On Wednesday January 31 at 18:00, the Strings, Winds and Polyphonic departments will play several repertoires on the stage of the Théâtre des Variétés.
Choir and chamber music will enhance the different musical ensembles. The following Wednesday, it is still at the Théâtre des Variétés that the young students in the theatre initiation class will go on stage to perform a theatrical and musical work that they have chosen with their teacher.
Later, from Monday February 12 to Friday February 16, the students will take up residence at the Espace Léo Ferré. As every year during this week of residency called “Academy Days”, three meetings open to the public will be offered at 19:00: on Monday February 12 a piano evening; on Wednesday February 14, orchestras and to close the week, concert jazz and amplified contemporary music, on Friday February 16.
