Over several years, the New National Museum of Monaco has been conserving 4,000 stage costumes and 400 décor pieces from the Monte-Carlo Opéra and stored by the Monte-Carlo Society des Bains de Mer.
The Museum also has a collection of its own, about 60 pieces, called The Travelling Collection based on a project by the artist Celia Pym dating from 2018. These items are used to illustrate the challenges of conservation and restoration through visits to schools and colleges.
The new season debuts at the Ecole des Révoires before moving on to the Ecole de La Condamine. CFM Indosuez Wealth Management is a sponsor of the educational program.
