The official inauguration of the Café de Paris took place on Wednesday, November 22, by Their Serene Highnesses, the Prince and Princess of Monaco, with Mr and Mrs Louis Ducruet, and Mrs Camille Gottlieb, in the presence of Stéphane Valeri, SBM’s CEO, and Pierre Dartout, Minister of State.
The evening unfolded in an elegant and convivial “Monégasque brasserie” atmosphere, with the sound of an accordion accompanying the “Live Strolling” live band, SBM said.
The philosophy of the brand-new Café de Paris Monte-Carlo is to present the great classics of French brasserie interpreted with gourmet simplicity, with sommellerie as the new trump card.
The new iteration of the Café de Paris – which first opened 155 years ago – welcomes guests at any time of day, in bistro or restaurant mode, at the table or around the counter, in the lounge bar or outdoors, with a unique new view of the Place du Casino from the new upstairs terrace, SBM said.
