A partnership between Monaco Cloud and Sekoia.io was announced on Thursday, October 12, on the occasion of the Assises de la Sécurité exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum.

Monaco Cyber Security’s private Sovereign SOC is part of the transformation strategy digital technology of the Principality of Monaco having placed security at the heart of its development. Mr Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Head of Attractiveness and Digital Transition said: “Security is in the DNA of Monaco, it is one of the key factors in the attractiveness of the Principality. This requirement applies to cybersecurity, an essential element in a world that has become digital. After the creation of AMSN, the Sovereign Cloud and Monegasque digital identity, the Sovereign SOC is a strong asset for the State and our local businesses, and a first in Europe.”

Mr Frédéric Fautrier Director of the Monegasque Digital Security Agency, also insisted on the need for the Principality to equip itself with solutions to ensure the security of businesses in order to that this development can take place in optimal conditions. “I wanted to emphasise that the approach started by these two young companies, one from Monaco, Monaco Cyber Sécurité, and the other from France, SEKOIA.IO, will contribute to strengthening the overall level of digital security in Monaco. Both engaged in the community of treatment and response to computer security incidents, they will contribute to maintain a safer digital space in the Principality by responding to the challenges we all face in daily life, using a trusted solution,” he added.

A cybersecurity supervision and intervention centre, the SOC aims to detect, analyse and deal with IT security incidents with reduced reaction time. Monaco Cyber Security’s sovereign SOC service is based on two key technologies, one being Monaco Cloud, the Principality’s sovereign cloud platform, which ensures the protection of customer data. Servers located in Monaco ensure that customer data remains in Monaco, a territory that meets the strictest safety standards.

Meanwhile, Sekoia.io offers an XDR (eXtended Detection and Response) platform powered by intelligence exclusive to cyberthreats. The Sekoia.io platform has been deployed on Monaco Cloud environments and allows SOC-MCS to detect threats immediately thanks to a vast catalogue of security rules enriched by Monaco Cyber Security teams. Monaco Cyber Security’s sovereign SOC offering is a complete and adaptable solution that meets the needs of needs of businesses of all sizes. It offers a range of services and solutions to protect information systems against a wide range of threats, Monaco Cyber Security claims.
