Minister of State Pierre Dartout chaired a new meeting of the National Anti-Money Laundering Strategy Coordination and Monitoring Committee on Thursday July 27 to carry out a complete overview of the progress of the National Action Plan for each strategic objective: the fight against money-laundering, corruption, and the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Also discussed were the digital asset risk assessment project and international criminal assistance.

During this meeting, the specific action plan of the Department of Tax Services, the plan of actions of the Council of the Bar Association and Advocates-Defendants, the assessment of risks related to the financing of terrorism as well as the Memorandum of Understanding adopted by the General Prosecutor’s Office/Public Security Department/SICCFIN were all adopted.

The Principality of Monaco reaffirms its total involvement in the fight against the money laundering of capital, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and corruption.
