The Monte Carlo Tennis Club recently hosted its highly anticipated Tournoi des Jeunes, bringing together promising young players from around the region and also internationally, including far-off Australia. As the sun shone brightly on the pristine courts, the tournament unfolded with intense matches and electrifying moments. The event not only showcased the participants’ exceptional skills but also provided a platform for the tennis stars of tomorrow to shine.

The tournament witnessed an outstanding display of competitive spirit and sportsmanship from all participants. The young athletes exhibited unwavering determination and fought fiercely for every point. Despite the high stakes and pressure, the players consistently displayed grace and respect for their opponents, making the tournament a true testament to the values of the game.

Among the participants, several young stars stood out for their exceptional performances throughout the tournament. One of the standout players was Camilla Charlotte Ambrosio  a local born in Monaco talent licensed at Monte Carlo Country club, a talented and fiercely determined 12 year-old. Camilla Charlotte consistently displayed a formidable blend of powerful groundstrokes, quick footwork, and strategic shot placement. Her remarkable performance earned her the well-deserved title of champion in the U16 girls’ division, She also won the 13/14 and 11/12 year old categories with a historic and unprecedented hat trick.

In the boys’ division, Cody Atkison from Australia was the number-one seed of the tournament and the 15-year-old prodigy dazzled the audience with his unmatched skills. Cody’s lightning-quick reflexes, incredible court coverage, and precise shot selection made him a formidable opponent for anyone he faced. He displayed remarkable composure and tactical awareness, securing the championship trophy in the boys’ U16 division.

The Monte Carlo Tennis Club Tournament provided a platform for these young players to gain valuable experience and exposure. With their exceptional performances, Camilla Charlotte Ambrosio and Cody  Atkison have undoubtedly marked themselves as rising stars in the tennis world. Their talent, dedication, and strong work ethic foreshadow promising futures for these young athletes.

On the final day of the tournaments on Saturday, July 15, the prize awards ceremony took place. President of the Monegasque Federation and the Monte-Carlo Country Club Melanie-Antoinette de Massy presented the cups to the winners including the most prestigious of all, the one dedicated to Baroness Elisabeth-Anne de Massy reserved for the winners of the 15/16 years old category.
