The World Expo in Dubaï is coming to an end, and more than one million visitors were present at the Monaco Pavilion, of which CMB Monaco was an official partner. The Mini Pavilion on the port of Monaco, also supported by the leading private bank, was visited by over 6,000 visitors.

Francesco Grosoli, CEO of CMB Monaco, reflects on his experience as partner of the Expo 2020 Dubaï as the exhibition draws to a close. According to him, “this global event has taken on a very special dimension for this edition given the theme of the exhibition, in a context marked by the health crisis. As we look to the future, the post-Covid era, it is more necessary than ever to follow the official theme: ‘connecting minds, building the future.”

For Monaco, it was an opportunity to showcase the many facets of the Principality, not only through the design of an original universe inside the pavilion, but also through the 57 events organised throughout the six months of the exhibition.

Mr Grosoli also emphasised the importance of it for Monaco’s international reputation: “Promoting Monaco through this global event is a way of showcasing the Principality’s assets and history. CMB Monaco is proud to have been able to contribute to the influence and attractiveness of our country, through the promotion of our Private Banking offer within the Monegasque Pavilion.”
