Monaco’s health authorities reported 156 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday, January 27, based on positive tests. The previous highest daily number was 146, on January 16.
The number of patients being treated at Princess Grace Hospital also jumped to a new high, 78. Fifty-six are residents. Two non-residents are in intensive care.
The Principality also recorded 120 new recoveries.
A total of 416 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home.
