One more person in Monaco has died, aged 75, after testing positive for coronavirus. It is not known if this person had underlying health issues or had been vaccinated. This is the 46th death associated with the disease since the start of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Monaco’s health authorities reported 108 new cases on Monday, January 24, while 136 were declared to be fully-recovered.

The number of people being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital now stands at 57, including 38 residents. One of the residents is in intensive care.

A total of 396 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home.

The Principality’s seven-day rolling average incidence rate, often used as a benchmark to measure the number of infections in any given community, now stands at 2,157 per 100,000, up from 1,953 seven days earlier.
