The Audiovisual Institute of Monaco presents a screening of the 1946 French short film titled ‘Partie de Campagne’, directed by Jean Renoir.
The film will be screened in French, and the screening will begin at 20:00 on the evening of Tuesday, January 18 at the Théâtre des Variétés.

Mikhaïl Pletnev – an OPMC recital
This week, the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a ‘Grande Saison’ recital concert, featuring Russian pianist Mikhaïl Pletnev.
Pletnev will perform many of the works of Frédéric Chopin.
The concert will commence at 20:00 in the Auditorium Rainier III on Thursday, January 20.

The Princess Grace Theatre presents ‘Une histoire d’amour’, a French language play packed full of love and tragedy.

Il Turco in Italia – Monte-Carlo Opera Gala
The Monte-Carlo Opera will perform Gioachino Rossini’s ‘Dramma buffo per musica’ in two acts titled ‘Il Turco in Italia’, or The Turk in Italy, on four occasions this month.
The first play will be performed in a gala evening in the Salle Garnier of the Monte-Carlo Opera house from 20:00 on Friday, January 21.

The Poet and the Musician – an OPMC concert
The Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a concert titled ‘The Poet and the Musician’, featuring conductor Stanislav Kochanovsky and baritone Matthias Goerne, who will perform the works of Shostakovich and Rimsky-Korsakov.
The concert will begin at 20:00 in the Auditorium Rainier III on Saturday, January 22.
