The number of new coronavirus cases in Monaco, identified by tests, hit 62 on Tuesday, December 21, one short of the record daily new case number since the start of the pandemic.
Twenty-two patients are being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital, including seven residents. Two of the residents are in intensive care.
Seventeen residents were reported fully-recovered, while 239 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home.
