Monaco’s Hotels-Cafés-Restaurants union has called on hotel workers to demonstrate at noon on Tuesday, December 15, on Casino Square.
The protest is in response to new rules for workers due to come into force on December 15 requiring them to show a Health Pass in order to continue to work where customers are already required to show a Pass.
The union has called the Government’s move “arbitrary.”
The organisation has also called on members to turn out on Saturday, December 11, at a planned protest in front of Stade Louis II at which protesters will demonstrate against the obligation for health workers to be vaccinated and masks worn by children in school.
