Only ten new cases of coronavirus were reported in Monaco on Monday, while 37 residents were reported to have recovered fully from the virus. No new cases had been reported on Sunday.

However, the benchmark infection rate more than doubled, to 453.72 per 100,000 as of Sunday, November 28, from 198.17 one week earlier.

The infection rate in the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes stood at 354 per 100,000 on Monday, November 29, significantly lower than in the Principality.

Meanwhile, 11 patients with coronavirus symptoms are receiving treatment at Princess Grace Hospital. Two are Monaco residents.

Due to the large number of full recoveries noted on Monday, the number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home has fallen to 128.

The UK reported 42,583 new cases and 35 new deaths on Monday, November 29, while in France 8,279 new cases were reported and 103 deaths in hospitals.
