The Prefect of the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes has announced that mask measures will stay in place until November 16 for 11+ year-olds.
This comes after positivity rates were at 1.5 percent for the week of October 23 to 29 and the incidence rate surpassed the alert threshold of 62.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Among the public spaces concerned are shopping malls, urban roads with pedestrian traffic and in establishments and events that require a Health pass.
Yet in other public spaces the same rules don’t apply If a distance of at least two metres is kept in natural and urban green spaces such as gardens, parks and beaches.
