The gift vouchers scheme operated through the Carlo application has been very successful, both in terms of those who benefit from the bonuses – around 10,000 civil servants, state and municipality employees, retirees of the Civil Service and non-medical staff of the Princess Grace hospital as well as partner traders, numbering 317 today.
As part of the economic recovery, the Government has decided to renew the operation until the end of the year.
The system has more than 21,000 users and has processed nearly 13 million euros in transactions.
These purchases generated 900,000 euros in rewards for consumers, and that this cash-back is re-injected into the local economy. In addition the economy has produced more than two million euros in VAT for the Principality.
