Monaco Business Expo 2021

The 9th Monaco Business Salon will be held in the Sea Club of the Meridien Beach Plaza on Wednesday, October 6.

The Principality’s B2B event brings together Monegasque entrepreneurs to allow them to exchange views, while presenting visitors with the economic specificities of Monaco.

SheCanHeCan workshop

Monaco-based organisation SheCanHeCan will hold an educational workshop at the Princesse Caroline Library from 14:00 on Wednesday, October 6.

The theme of the workshop is ‘Let’s talk about equality’, which will be explored through interactive activities for children aged eight and over. Alongside talking about equality, the children will also learn about speaking up, gaining confidence and challenging stereotypes.

Thursday Live Sessions – Will Barber

French artist Will Barber will perform on the stage of the Grimaldi Forum’s Indigo Venue in October’s Thursday Live Session.

Barber specialises in country, blues and rock, and became famous with an audition on The Voice France in 2017, which has been watched over 110 million times.

This live concert will not be one to miss for fans of the more old school stuff, and will begin at 20:30 with a DJ “aperomix” from 18:30.

The Mousetrap – Princess Grace Theatre

A French adaptation of Agatha Christie’s timeless play titled ‘The Mousetrap’ or ‘La Souriciere’ will be performed at the Princess Grace Theatre from 20:30 on Thursday, October 7.

Angela Gheorghiu recital

Soprano singer Angela Gheorghiu will take to the stage of the Salle Garnier of the Monte-Carlo Opera to perform the works of Bellini, Donizetti, Tosti, Respighi, Schumann, R. Strauss, Rachmaninov, Rameau, Martini and Debussy just to name a few.

Gheorghiu will be accompanied by Jeff Cohen on the piano in a concert recital that is set to begin at 20:00 on Friday, October 8.

‘Couple Ouvert a Deux Battants’

This French Language play titled ‘Couple Ouvert a Deux Battants’ featuring Karine Bourgery and Albert Braquetti will be performed at the Théâtre des Variétés from 20:00 on Saturday, October 9.

This performance will benefit the organisers of the event, the Soutien Entraide Benevolat (SEB) Monegasque humanitarian association.

The Golden Age of Baroque I – an OPMC concert

This Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra 21/22 ‘Grande Saison’ concert will see Ton Koopman direct the orchestra on the stage of the Salle Garnier from 15:00 on Sunday, October 10.

Koopman will be joined on stage by Sibylle Duchesne, Delphine Perrone, Arthur Menrath and Matthieu Petitjean as they perform the works of Haydn, Gluck and Mozart.
