Monaco’s Ministry of Health has responded to a number of queries raised by NEWS.MC about who qualifies for the Health Pass.

Importantly, the Ministry said that a full vaccination certificate issued outside Monaco will be accepted in lieu of a Monaco or French Health Pass to enable the holder to use restaurants and cafes in the Principality.

In response to a reader whose daughter was vaccinated with the first dose in the UK and with the second dose in Monaco, the Ministry said that the health Pass is issued at the end of the vaccination cycle regardless of whether it started abroad.

In response to a question about wait times between booking a vaccination appointment and receiving a jab, the Ministry said: “The wait is around 48 hours but may vary depending if there are a lot of requests at the same time, (in which case) it may be longer.”
