From September 7 to 14, Artcurial is holding an online-only sale of fashion accessories belonging to Catherine Deneuve for the benefit of the “Les Restos du Cœur” association. The sale includes nearly 125 pairs of pumps, sandals, waders, and boots from some of the biggest fashion houses.
Previously worn on red carpets or on the front rows of fashion shows, the actress offers them for sale to support a noble cause.
Included are a large number of Louboutin, Yves Saint-Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Manolo Blahnik, Prada and Roger Vivier estimated to sell between 30 euros and 150 euros, and ranging from size 37 to 39.5.
“In satin, patent leather or suede, with open or pointed toes, with small or high heels, sobre in black or extroverted in fuchsia, this selection should delight lovers of beautiful shoes,” Artcurial said.
The Restaurants du Cœur, commonly and familiarly known as the Restos du Cœur, is a French charity, the main activity of which is to distribute food packages and hot meals to those in need. The association does not only target homeless but also all those with a low or very low income, according to Wikipedia.
