With just a month ago to its long-awaited reopening, the new Larvotto Beach will open at the beginning of July despite some unfinished details.
The project will be fully-finished in the first half of 2022, but the Renzo Piano-designed complex will be ready for business next month and no work will be carried out during the busy summer months.
The traders who were part of the old Larvotto will remain open during the winter months as part of the conditions laid down for their licences, with seven new businesses joining the scheme.
Work started in 2019 and continued throughout the pandemic as a token of the Government’s recognition of the importance of Larvotto beach to the fabric of Monaco living.
