Five more residents tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, April 9, while one more elderly patient who had tested positive for the virus, died aged 97. This is the 31st death during the pandemic according to the criteria used by the Monaco Government.

Five residents are being treated as inpatients at Princess Grace Hospital, none in intensive care. In addition, 23 non-residents are also being treated at CHPG, six in intensive care.

Seven residents have been declared fully-recovered, while the number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home remains at 64.

A total of 247 Monaco residents were inoculated during the seven days to Thursday, April 8, taking the cumulative total to 11,962, the equivalent of 31.48 percent of the total population.
