The health authorities reported five new cases of coronavirus cases among residents in Monaco on Wednesday evening, taking the total since the start of the outbreak to 161. Total recoveries now number 107.
One resident is in intensive care at the Princess Grace Hospital.
A total of 48 residents exhibiting only mild symptoms are recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre.
Meanwhile, 8,577 new cases and 30 new deaths were reported in France on Wednesday, with 2,659 new cases and eight new deaths in the UK.
