The Automobile Club told its members on Wednesday that the club’s restaurant will reopen after all, having first said that Le Club would stay closed until September.
However, due to social distancing requirements only 20 places will be available, instead of the usual 60, for lunch and dinner from Tuesday through Friday. Reservations will be obligatory. Members and guests will have their temperatures taken on entry and will have to wear face masks when entering the club.
Hospitality Manager Jean-Luc Dufayel said: “it is a very great pleasure for us to resume service and to see our members again. We hope its the same for them. We are not here to make money but to provide a service for our more than 5,000 members. It’s their place, their restaurant.”
