According to the latest information published on its website, low-cost airline easyJet will operate a total of five flights from Nice to London Gatwick during the second half of June. No other London airport will be served during the period.
The first scheduled flight next month on easyJet will be on June 15, at 09:00, and the price of a one-way ticket (at 23:00 on Wednesday) was shown to be £162.55 . Flights are also scheduled on June 19, 21, 26, 28, and 29. According to the current schedule, daily flights will start from Wednesday, July 1.
The UK plans to introduce a 14-day quarantine requirement for incoming passengers from June 8. Meanwhile, the French authorities have said they may introduce a tit-for-tat requirement, but on a voluntary basis.
British Airways has maintained its London Heathrow link to Nice throughout the coronavirus crisis, although not every day. In the absence of easyJet, Nice Airport’s number-one carrier, Air France is currently operating three daily flights from Nice to Paris CDG, and two to Corsica.
