Six years since their last visit to the Vatican, TSH Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were received by the Pope on Wednesday, July 20.
They were accompanied by Foreign Minister Isabelle Berro-Amadei and Dominique-Marie David, Archbishop of Monaco.
Princess Charlene wore a black outfit and mantilla for this papal audience despite the fact that Catholic queens are allowed to wear white during meetings with the Pope, a privilege that the Princess chose during her audiences in the Vatican in 2013 and 2016.
