Lionel Beffre brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief of Staff for France’s Minister of Overseas Territories. His illustrious career in public service is marked by his tenure as Prefect in several French departments, including Lot-et-Garonne, Eure-et-Loir, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Isère, and Seine-et-Marne.
