Monaco resident Andrew Benson completed his charity bike ride on Sunday, May 28, in 10 hours.
“Thanks to the wonderful 51 supporters, we raised over £4,600 for research into pancreatic cancer. I believe that was the third-highest total of the 183 riders for that charity and the eighth out of all the charities being supported. I’m delighted we made a worthwhile difference and it made my physical effort easier to suffer having all those people behind me. I also wanted to thank the gym trainers at Club 39 for helping me get in shape for the ride.”
Andrew adds that it was a beautiful sunny day riding through London and deep into the Essex countryside. The support from the public on the journey was fantastic, he added.
