The Giraudi Beefbar chain, born in Monaco, has been awarded “best meat restaurant with several sites” by the UK’s Upper Cut Media House. Giraudi was ups against 800 steakhouse restaurants across the world.

Launched in 2005 by Riccardo Giraudi as a complement to the family’s wholesale beef importation and distribution business, the chain has grown to comprise 32 restaurants.

“After two decades of hard work to make Beefbar an international destination, all my gratitude goes to the members of our teams, on all continents, because they are the ones who made this possible,” Riccardo Giraudi said “after learning of the prize. He added that he was both “touched and honored” by the award.

The next Beefbar is due to open in June on the Greek island of Santorini.
