Falstaff – Tout L’Art du Cinema

The Audiovisual Institute of Monaco presents the 1966 film titled ‘Falstaff’, directed by Orson Welles and based on the works of William Shakespeare. The film depicts a dangerously divided England at the beginning of the 13th century, where a king must defend his crown.

The film will screen in English with French subtitles at the Princess Grace Theatre on Tuesday, February 28 from 20:00.

Terre de Joie – OPMC young audience concert

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a special concert for a young audience, as Terre de Joie return to the Principality. Comedian Sandra Meunier will take to the stage of the Auditorium Rainier III, while Kazuki Yamada conducts.

Mary Lavin and The New Yorker, a talk by Dr Gráinne Hurley – PGIL

The new recipient of The Ireland Funds Monaco Bursary for spring 2023, the latest Princess Grace Irish Library writer-in-residence  Gráinne Hurley will give a talk on the subject of her work-in-progress, ‘Mary Lavin and The New Yorker‘, which explores Irish writer Lavin’s relationship with the iconic magazine. Lavin was born in America to Irish parents and at the age of 10 returned to live in Ireland, going on to become an accomplished and celebrated author and now regarded as a pioneer in the field of women’s writing.

The talk will begin at 19:00 and will be followed by a drinks reception, admission stands at 10 euros per person, which can be paid at the door of the Princess Grace Irish Library in cash or cheque. Tickets are also available to reserve online here.

75 Years of Porsche

Twelve of the most iconic Porsche cars have temporarily taken their place on Quai Albert-1er in the newly relocated and refreshed Car Collection of HSH Prince Albert, in an exciting exhibition organised by the Circle des Amis de la Collection Princier in collaboration with the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. ‘The World We Make‘ – Amy Sherald Exhibition

Since March 2018, when Houser & Wirth announced exclusive worldwide representation of American artist Amy Sherald, four major exhibitions took place: in New York, Los Angeles, last year in London – her first solo show in Europe and from the end of January this year a selection of new and monumental works by Amy Sherald is brought to Monaco.

On display at Hauser & Wirth Monaco until April 15. This exhibition is not to be missed. More on NEWS.MC.

Pre-International Woman’s Day Networking Evening – Monaco USA and BAM

In order to avoid clashing with the official Monaco International Women’s Day, the Monaco USA, and the British association of Monaco are holding their networking event on the evening of Tuesday, March 7, from 17:00 with the theme being #EmbraceEquity.

On the 140th anniversary of Claude Monet’s first stopover in Monte-Carlo and on the Riviera, the Grimaldi Forum will devote its major summer exhibition to him from July 8 to September 3.
